1. How does Nexus Water verification work?

Our system uses IoT sensors on each Source Node to provide real-time telemetry data. This data, such as water generated and energy produced, is signed by the machine and recorded on the XRPL as an immutable proof of impact, ensuring transparency and auditability.

2. Where are stations deployed first?

Initial deployments are targeted in communities with the highest need for clean water and renewable energy, based on partnerships with local NGOs and environmental assessments. Our roadmap and deployment map will be publicly available.

3. How are rewards calculated?

Rewards are calculated based on verified output metrics like liters of water produced and kWh of solar energy generated. The algorithm also considers uptime and efficiency. These rewards are distributed on-chain to Source Node holders.

4. What’s the difference between on-chain receipts and ESG reports?

On-chain receipts are the raw, verifiable data points of impact from our IoT devices. ESG reports are aggregated, human-readable summaries generated from this on-chain data, tailored for compliance teams, investors, and stakeholders to easily understand the overall impact.

5. Do I need to place my node in the metaverse?

No, it's not required, but it is encouraged! Placing your Source Node in the XSPECTARverse or staking with partners unlocks performance multipliers, exclusive quests, and additional rewards, gamifying your real-world impact and enhancing your earning potential.
